(one-hour television drama series)

The RAP is a one-hour episodic family drama series set against the backdrop of the criminal justice system. It follows a team of young people working to provide young offenders, many of them very hardened and already written-off by authorities, with a path to retribution and rehabilitation that doesn’t include putting them behind bars. The series is inspired by the Youth Restorative Action Project (YRAP), an innovative program based on the tradition of aboriginal healing circles originally launched in Edmonton and now emulated in other cities across Canada and around the world. Presently in development.
